Julius Caesar GO! Yeah, We're Riding THOSE Coat Tails!

We had this game in the works before the release of Pokémon GO, we swear! A very happy coincidence of timing, however, has our patrons primed to do a little treasure hunting while at Shakespeare in the Park!

​Secreted throughout Kadish Park are a number of augmented reality trigger pictures. Find them and view the videos that have been created just for Shakespeare in the Park 2016 -- all just-for-fun Julius Caesar/Shakespeare-themed.

The only time you can see them is in the park. At SitP. During Julius Caesar.

How does it work?

1. Download the Aurasma app on your smart phone OR hang out with someone who's got a smart phone. 
2. Swipe left through the brief tutorial, then create a free account and “Follow” OptimistTheatre. 
   * Tap the magnifying glass "search" icon
   * Search for OptimistTheatre (no spaces!)
   * Tap the "Channels" tab and then select "OptimistTheatre's Public Auras"
   
3. Grab a map (should be where programs are distributed). You don’t need to find the "Auras" in any particular order. The treasure map will help you.
4. Find the trigger picture. 
5. Use the Aurasma app to zero in on the picture at each location by clicking the purple box in at the bottom of your screen and aiming it at the appropriate image. 
6. Your video will start automatically. NOTE: You can either stay pointed at the picture that triggered your video or double tap your screen to watch.
7. Enjoy!
